Executive Coaching

  •  Coaching for Leadership: One of the most common pieces of feedback we hear relates to an executive that is seen as technically strong, but has one or more ‘leadership’ or ‘stylistic’ traits that are holding them back, or diminishing their effectiveness. 
Coaching for Leadership is a 6-mth engagement, which seeks to achieve pre-agreed goals and positive change focused upon leadership effectiveness. It includes a stakeholder feedback exercise and has the option of adding additional psychometric tools. Close engagement and progress feedback to sponsoring manager/s is an important component. 



 

  • New Leader Transition Coaching: “Set up for Success”. 
Arguably, one of the most challenging and stressful periods in an executive’s career comes when they move into a challenging new role. New Leader Transition Coaching is designed to set them up for early success and facilitate a strong start in the new role. It is a 6-mth engagement that takes the new leader through 5 key areas of focus: (1) Aligning to the business context, (2) Managing relationships, (3) Learning the culture, (4) Action plan and execution, and (5) Sustainability. It culminates by providing detailed feedback and go-forward action plans. Close engagement and progress feedback to sponsoring manager/s is an important component. 


  • HR Head (or HR Senior) Coaching and Mentoring: With decades of experience operating at the most senior levels in almost every facet of the HR function, PCL is well placed to coach or mentor in this space, and focus upon how to make the HR Head/HR Senior, or the total HR function as effective and aligned to the needs of the firm as possible.


(Note: All coaching can be undertaken virtually if preferred)

New Leader Assimilation (NLA)

This process is designed to enhance and speed the effective assimilation of a newly appointed leader into their role. NLA’s are facilitated sessions designed to provide new leaders (4-6mths in role) with comprehensive, non-attributed feedback from their team, and go-forward action plans. 
Ideally these are run in-person, but where this is not possible, a virtual feedback session can be run yielding the same results.

Workplace Culture and Ethics

We have seen the damage that can be done to personal and corporate reputations through unethical business practices and employee conduct. PCL consults to businesses around ethics and strengthening the culture of governance, compliance and escalation.

Leadership and Talent Assessment

PCL undertakes assessment of ‘in-seat’ leadership teams, pipeline succession benches, or other cohorts. This is undertaken against pre-agreed competencies and utilises pre-agreed methodologies.

Facilitation and Training

PCL has extensive expertise in designing and facilitating leadership programs aimed at cohorts that range from first time people managers, through to senior executives.

PCL has extensive experience in partnering with business leaders to identify and remedy people related problems that are adversely impacting business performance.
